No question, the coronavirus has had a huge impact on our economy. From temporary leaves to distance working, if you're listening to this, chances are you’ve had to adjust in some way.
While there have been some benefits, I've been wondering: How can a business maintain its culture when its employees are distant?
As Jody and I discuss in this episode, for a healthy work culture to exist at home, the parameters for that culture must be defined and designed. Yes, Zoom calls have their place, but to preserve synergy, supervisors, and directors must realize the occasional virtual meeting is not enough. Even though it may seem like a low priority, how you replace happenstance matters. Whether setting a selective open-door policy via messaging or offering more collaborative opportunities, there are many ways to extend culture remotely.
