When it comes to the four keys, one of the common themes in each is proactivity.

To be proactive, a leader must anticipate change and engage challenging situations as they happen. Often we assume the maturity of a leader is based by how he responds to conflict; however, I submit the maturity of a leader is better captured by how he prepares for the possibility of conflict.

As I discuss in this episode, quality leaders not only embrace difficulty, but train people to troubleshoot adversity. How you react can go a long way in leaving a positive impression and building loyalty among your clients and customers.
